Privacy

Privacy policy for the Butler Holdings corporate website.

This policy covers butler.holdings site data only. It does not cover Butler Solutions product data or future Butler Agency consulting engagement data.

Scope

This is a corporate-site privacy policy.

This privacy policy explains how Butler Solutions LC handles information collected through the Butler Holdings corporate website at butler.holdings. The site exists for corporate context, brand routing, leadership and governance information, and company-level inquiries.

This policy does not describe data handling for Butler Solutions software products, Butler Agency consulting engagements, regulated bail services operations, regulated private investigation operations, or separate legal and consulting work. Those matters require their own engagement, product, or regulatory context.

Information collected

Information collected through this site is limited by design.

Butler Holdings may collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, inquiry type, message content, and any other information you choose to include when using the contact form or sending email to hello@butler.holdings. Visitors should not submit confidential case information, client records, protected health information, product support data, or regulated engagement materials through this corporate website unless Butler separately requests it in writing.

The site may also collect basic technical and usage information, including IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, referrer information, timestamps, and performance telemetry. At launch, butler.holdings uses Plausible analytics and browser performance telemetry to understand aggregate traffic, referrals, page performance, and site reliability. The site is not built around a logged-in account system or advertising-retargeting workflow.

Email communications may create additional records outside the website itself, including message headers, attachments voluntarily sent by the sender, delivery logs, and follow-up correspondence. Those records are handled as corporate communications, not as product records or consulting engagement materials unless a separate written relationship says otherwise.

Use of information

Information is used for corporate communication and site operation.

Butler uses corporate-site information to respond to inquiries, route investor, partner, press, vendor, administrative, and diligence questions, operate and secure the website, understand aggregate site traffic, improve page performance, detect spam or abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

Butler does not use butler.holdings contact submissions as a substitute for product onboarding, consulting engagement intake, regulated-services intake, or support for software customers. If an inquiry belongs on a different Butler surface, Butler may route the inquiry to the appropriate contact path or ask the sender to resubmit through the relevant public brand.

Sharing

Information is shared only where the corporate site requires it.

Butler may share information with service providers that support website hosting, analytics, email delivery, form processing, security, and business operations. Butler may also disclose information when required by law, legal process, regulatory request, company transaction, rights protection, abuse prevention, or security need.

Butler does not sell corporate contact form submissions as a business line. If Butler later adds additional systems, forms, analytics tools, or inquiry workflows to the corporate site, this policy should be updated so visitors can evaluate the current data handling posture.

Cookies and analytics

The site uses limited analytics and operational telemetry.

Butler Holdings may use cookies, scripts, server logs, or similar technologies for site operation, analytics, spam prevention, security, and performance measurement. At launch, the site uses Plausible analytics through a Butler-controlled analytics endpoint and browser telemetry for web-vital reporting. The current corporate site does not include user accounts, checkout flows, or behavioral advertising placements.

Browser settings may allow visitors to limit cookies or block scripts. Some blocking choices may affect analytics or form behavior, but the corporate information pages should remain readable without an account.

Butler may receive referral information from search engines, AI assistants, social platforms, or other sites that send visitors to butler.holdings. That information is used to understand how visitors find the corporate site and to evaluate whether the site is routing people to the correct Butler surface.

Retention and choices

Retention depends on the purpose of the inquiry.

Butler keeps corporate inquiry information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, business records, legal compliance, security, dispute handling, or relationship management. Retention periods may vary depending on whether the inquiry concerns investment, partnership, vendor, press, administrative, or other corporate matters.

Depending on where a visitor is located, privacy laws may provide rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or information about data practices. Butler will evaluate verified requests under applicable law. Privacy inquiries should be sent through the contact page or to hello@butler.holdings.

Butler may need to verify the requester's identity before acting on a privacy request. Some records may be retained where necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute handling, accounting, backup integrity, or legitimate corporate records. If Butler cannot fulfill a request in full, it should explain the reason where required by applicable law.

Security

Corporate-site security is proportionate to the site scope.

Butler uses reasonable administrative, technical, and operational measures intended to protect corporate-site information. No website or email channel can be guaranteed perfectly secure, and visitors should avoid sending sensitive regulated information through this public corporate contact path unless Butler has specifically requested it through an appropriate written process.

If Butler becomes aware of a security issue affecting corporate-site information, it will evaluate response obligations under applicable law and the nature of the affected information. Product security incidents, consulting engagement incidents, and regulated-services incidents are outside the scope of this corporate-site policy and require the relevant engagement or product context.

Boundaries

Product and consulting privacy notices are separate.

This policy intentionally avoids claims about Butler Solutions product infrastructure, product audit logging, product data hosting, confidential AI usage, backup systems, SOC 2 timing, or customer data handling. Those topics belong to product-specific trust and privacy materials, not to this corporate website policy.

Butler Agency consulting privacy terms will also require separate treatment as that brand and engagement model mature. Until then, visitors should treat this page as the privacy policy for the Butler Holdings corporate website only.

Privacy inquiries

Use the corporate contact path for privacy questions.

Privacy questions about this corporate website should route through Butler Holdings. Product or consulting data questions require the relevant Butler surface or written engagement context.
